Friends of the Tyler Public Library

Our mission is to promote the development and programs of the Tyler Public Library by providing funding for expansions and improvements to the building and programming, raising awareness of the library as an educational and cultural asset to the City of Tyler.

Did you know that the programs provided by the public library are not funded by the City of Tyler? The City pays salaries and general building expenses, but not for programming and events. The Friends of the Tyler Public Library funded $15,500 in 2025! It is only possible with donations and support from members of the community like you.

Summer and winter reading programs
Spanish language materials  for native speakers and language learners
Makerspace experiences for STEM education
DnD nights for young adults
3D Printers for public use
Copies and Printers for public use
Microfilm reader upgrades
Ancestry.com and Military.com access

$100 Business Membership: Name on banner in lobby

$150 Bottle or Santa Sponsorship: Name on banner and event recognition with logo (choice of Bottle or Santa)

$250 Banner Sponsorship Recognition: Logo on the banner.

$300 Bottles and Books Flight Sponsorship: Logo on banner and flight of whiskey or wine named for your company.

$500 Annual Sponsorship: Logo on banner, social media recognition, and a GA ticket to the Bottles and Books event in August.

$750 Premier Annual Sponsorship: Logo on banner, social media, AND recognition on the website, and one Top Shelf ticket to Bottles and Books in August at TWELVE.

$1,000 Bottles and Books Event Sponsor: All of the Premierecognition with inclusion of logo on event promotions and two tickets to the event.
