As a Tyler native, former Rose Queen, and a leader in media & marketing consulting, Marla Reeder proudly supports CampV to honor her family’s legacy of service.
"My great Uncle Bill left for WWII as a vibrant, fun-loving young man. He came home, broken, withdrawn, and struggling with mental illness with nowhere to turn. I’ve always wondered how different his life could’ve been if something like CampV had existed for him.
Supporting CampV is personal. Military service runs deep in my family. However, this mission became real when I recently learned about a veteran who was ready to end his life. His one call with CampV changed everything. He put the gun down and chose help and resources offered by CampV.
This is what CampV does. They meet veterans in their darkest moments and give them hope, support, and community when they need it most.
Since opening in 2019, they’ve helped hundreds of East Texas veterans, but there are more who still need help.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference…this is it!
Please consider a donation to CampV for East Texas Giving Day. Your support today could save the life of a veteran tomorrow."
