TCTC changes lives. Mine included. Help me raise funds to keep the lights on at YOUR theatre center.

$2,026 goal

In 2018, I walked into Tyler Civic Theatre Center for the first time as a volunteer for Singin’ in the Rain. I didn’t know then just how much that decision would shape my life.

What started as a single production quickly became something much bigger. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow not just as an actor, but as an artist and a person. I’ve learned the ins and outs of technical production, stepped into directing, and even had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors with the incredible opportunity to serve as Board President in 2027 and 2028.

Over the last eight years, I've been privileged enough to make beautiful performing arts memories with my friends, my best friend, and my amazing wife, Novalee. How cool is that?

But what matters most, here, is the impact of TCTC on our community.

I’ve seen shy young men and women walk through the doors unsure of themselves, only to leave as confident performers, students, and leaders in their communities. I’ve watched nervous first-time auditioners of all ages find their voice and step into something bigger than themselves.

Through TCTC, I’ve built lifelong friendships and relationships that will stay with me forever. I’ve gained confidence. Not just as an actor, singer, and dancer, but as a director, a crew member, and an individual. This theatre has given me opportunities I never expected and a community I never knew I needed.

That’s the power of a local arts center. Education, entertainment, enrichment, engagement. All led by your neighbors and friends.

Spaces like Tyler Civic Theatre Center don’t just produce shows. They create belonging. They nurture creativity. They give people a place to grow, to take risks, and to be seen and heard. In a world that feels so dramatically disconnected, TCTC brings people together in a way that is real, meaningful, and lasting.

Now, I’m asking for your help to ensure that impact continues.

My goal is to raise $2,026 to support Tyler Civic Theatre Center and the countless individuals whose lives will be changed by stepping onto that stage or working behind the scenes. Every dollar helps provide opportunities for future performers, technicians, directors, and dreamers to find their place.

If TCTC has ever impacted you, or if you believe in the power of the arts to transform lives and build community, I lovingly invite you to be part of this mission.

And if you don't give, then I'll be asking (and expecting) you to audition for a show or work backstage. It's one or the other, really.
