Kick Addiction Where it Hurts

Has your life been touched by addiction? Mine has. Addiction is painful, directly and indirectly. Statistics say that just about everyone in America is impacted by the economic, social and mental health impacts of addiction in our society.  Nearly every family is being adversely affected by addiction.  For every one person directly involved in an addictive activity or substance, seven people are touched by the social, economic, medical and mental health consequences of that struggle.  Social stigmas and financial barriers make getting help more difficult. Are you being impacted?  Would you like to give addiction "a swift kick in the pants?"

 Straight Street Restoration Center, Damascus Home ministry's recovery facility for men offers a safe environment and recovery services in the form of a 14-week program on a 10-acre campus.  My goal is to help at least one person overcome the financial obstacle by raising support for them to be admitted without regard to resources.  Lasting change happens one person at a time.  In a more profound way, a life transformed by freedom in Jesus Christ will impact many more than seven lives.  Please help me achieve this goal and kick addiction where it hurts!
