As the Executive Director at Achieving Dreams, I get to enjoy seeing the impact of our community funding every week. Achievers faces light up when they arrive at Achieving Dreams at 9am every morning, and they continue to engage with other Achievers, staff, and amazing volunteers until they walk out the door at 2pm.
In the 10 months I have been at Achieving Dreams, I have seen our 32 adults with special needs grow in a multitude of ways and be able to give back consistently to a community who supports them so well.
This East Texas Giving Day, I hope you will choose to support Achieving Dreams so that we can continue providing high-quality day services, including pre-vocational skills training, socialization, and life skills development. Achieving Dreams is more than just a place for Achievers to spend their days, it is a place where they can THRIVE!
