Raising Independence through Supported Elevation (RISE)
There are many vulnerable individuals and families - elderly, disabled, and families with young children - across the greater East Texas area who face emergent needs. Often, there is no economic support (no savings, no emergency funds, no family help, and no additional income) to help them through crisis. We find the best way to help the individuals is to help them cover basic needs when faced with emergency situations.
This is why Greater East Texas Community Action Program is seeking to grow funding to provide immediate support for the vulnerable population.
