Strong Fathers, Strong Families

Over 22 years ago, I walked through the doors of the Pregnancy Help Center of Lufkin as a client—scared, uncertain, and unsure of what my future would hold. But from the very first moment, I was met with such genuine warmth and kindness. I didn’t feel judged or alone… I felt seen, cared for, and supported.

At the time, I was determined not to give up on my education, even though I didn’t know how I would manage both college and motherhood. The staff here didn’t just offer resources—they prayed with me and for me. They reminded me that I wasn’t alone and that the Lord would walk with me every step of the way.

And He did.

After welcoming my beautiful baby girl into the world, I went on to graduate from Angelina College as a Radiologic Technologist. What once felt overwhelming and uncertain became a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Looking back, I can clearly see that everything worked out according to His perfect plan—for me and for my children. For that, I will forever be grateful.
