Gateway of Hope Fund

I have had the blessing and priveledge of developing the sweetest relationships in the year that I have been with Hope Haven. The foster girls that reside at Hope Haven- Gateway of Hope prove every single day that they are resilient, kind, open-minded, and full of love to give- DESPITE how the world has treated them.

I have heard countless stories from these girls of instances where they had to provide food for their little siblings, not knowing when their parents would return. I have witnessed messy rooms due to a sense of comfort from the house where they were removed. I have heard of so many different ways a child can be abused by a parent who is supposed to love and protect them. Every time I hear a new story, I am overwhelmed and completely heartbroken.

BUT GOD!

The Lord is rewriting these girls' stories every single day, and He is turning their  suffering into joy. What an incredible thing to witness.

For East Texas Giving Day, I am asking you to join me in donating to these girls who have, so far in life, received little to nothing.

Currently, Gateway of Hope provides many things for these girls, including basic needs, but also a sense of normalcy! It is a great joy to witness the girls engage in activities such as park days, Splash Kingdom days, pumpkin carving, garden planting, painting, sports, and SO much more. These girls begin living relatively normal lives when they are placed with GOH, but that normalcy can always be increased.

I am personally very passionate about providing the most normal and joy-filled daily experiences and activities for the foster girls at Hope Haven, and I would love to see a difference made in their lives in every way possible!

Matthew 25:40 says, "The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"
