Children’s Village understands that a child who has lost their parents shouldn’t have to lose their community, too.
Since 1980, we’ve provided family-style Cottage Homes on our rural campus outside of Tyler, where Cottage Parents and children are supported by caring staff devoted to sharing God’s love with families in need of His compassion and grace. These homes have allowed children in foster care – with a focus on sibling groups – to live together under the care of Cottage Parents and remain enrolled in Tyler ISD or other nearby school districts.
Our conviction is that a child will remain with us in a Cottage Home until they return to a family member or are adopted – a goal that’s been met over 95% of the time since 2004.
