Since joining Elijah’s Retreat in May of 2024, I knew I had stepped into something special—but I had no idea just how deeply it would impact my heart. What began as gratitude for a new opportunity has grown into something far greater: a daily sense of purpose, inspiration, and overwhelming thankfulness.

Each family that comes through our gates brings a unique journey—often filled with challenges most of us can’t fully understand. Yet, in the midst of those challenges, I have witnessed incredible strength, resilience, and growth. I’ve seen children light up with confidence, families connect in new and meaningful ways, and hope begin to take root where it once felt out of reach.

At Elijah’s Retreat, we are more than a place to stay—we are a community. We walk alongside these families as they navigate their paths, offering opportunities to bond with others who understand, to seek support, and to discover what is possible. We strive to create an environment where new beginnings can take shape, and where both children and their families can learn how to turn possibilities into reality.

Time and time again, I leave work with my cup overflowing—with love, gratitude, and a deep sense of purpose. The impact being made here is real, and it is life-changing.
