The United Way of Lamar County generates, organizes and distributes resources to help meet our local community's evolving needs focusing on the areas of education, income and health. It is the mission of the United Way of Lamar County to be the community leader and trusted partner that proactively seeks solutions to improve people's lives. This year's funds from East Texas Giving Day will be used to fund our rent and utility assistance programs, our mini food pantries, and our youth programs.

The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) has 19 partner agencies that receive over $400,000 in funding allocation from UWLC each year. One donation to the United Way of Lamar County funds all of our partner agencies. The 2023 UWLC partner agencies include: American Red Cross of Northeast Texas, Ark-Tex Council of Government (Paris Metro Bus), Boys Scouts of America, Boys & Girls Club of Paris, Children's Advocacy Center, RRV Down Syndrome Society, The Downtown Food Pantry, CASA for Kids, Habitat for Humanity Paris/Lamar County, Imagination Library, The King's Daughters, LC Child Welfare Board, HomeStay, Tailored Rides, RSVP, The Salvation Army, and the PCT Children's Theatre. When you donate to the United Way of Lamar County you are touching the lives of all who live and work in Lamar County, Texas. In addition to supporting our partner agencies, the United Way of Lamar County also runs educational and youth programs, distributes rent and utility assistance, has mini food pantries, distributes diapers, and works in the community where needed most.
