About this Organization
Shred the Word Ministry began with a simple vision: to travel to state parks across Texas and nearby states, sharing the love of Christ by handing out Bibles and spreading the Good News. What started as a passion for combining faith and skateboarding quickly grew into something greater than we imagined. Over time, this vision evolved into a weekly Skate Church and Bible study at the Mineola Skate Park, where skaters and members of the community gather to learn about God, support one another, and grow in faith.
Our ministry has blossomed as we've become deeply involved in the local community. We're committed to being a safe place for people to come as they are, offering encouragement, fellowship, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. As Matthew 18:20 reminds us, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." This verse is the foundation of what we do-we believe that wherever believers come together, whether at a skate park or a church building, God is present and working. We're passionate about giving back to the community, building meaningful relationships, and sharing the life-changing power of the Gospel with everyone we encounter.
