The mission of Randy Sams Outreach Shelter is to meet the immediate needs of temporary lodging, food and clothing to the homeless in our midst, and the tools and services needed to help them regain their independence.

Randy Sams Outreach Shelter is in a critical time of need for additional funds not only to help us sustain our basic operations of providing shelter and food, but also to continue to provide additional services such as case management services, transportation, prescription assistance, and more services that are needed to help the homeless regain their independence and live healthy lives. Our numbers of homeless residents climbed in 2024 and have continued to be critically high. Costs of supplies, food, maintenance and repairs have increased while donations and grants have been provided in lesser amounts due to economic strain.

Specific services we provide are shelter case management, medication assistance, housing placement, transportation, application to benefits or food stamps, ordering of ID's, set up of and access to physical and mental health appointments, life skills classes, in house job training and stipends, and more.
