$100,000 Goal
Welcome to East Texas Giving Day and thank you for coming by our organization's page today.
We are working with the City of Mt. Vernon, Texas and Franklin County with our focus on improving the lives of the animals in our community. Every animal that comes through the PAWS shelter is inspected by a veterinarian, receives all the necessary vaccinations, is spayed or neutered, and receives a permanent ID chip. The City of Mt. Vernon and Franklin County assists us with managing the shelter and the City's employees take care of the animals in our care, 7 days a week. Our goal is to dramatically reduce the number of stray animals in the City and in Franklin County.
This year, PAWS' focus is on raising the Operating Funds needed to have the tools to accomplish our mission now and in the future. The operating cost to run the shelter is just over $250,000 annually.
We are thrilled to announce the Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund will be matching what we raise up to $5,000. And we have several donors, who wish to remain anonymous, offering additional matching funds, so our total match is $10,000.
Please help us reach our goal, because Pets Are Worth Saving.
PAWS of Franklin County Texas is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization.
