New Texas Sinfonia

About this Organization

New Texas Sinfonia was founded in early 2020 as an innovative professional chamber orchestra for Texas.

Our fourth season began with "Symphonic Shakespeare" featuring music inspired by The Immortal Bard. From Mendelssohn's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" to Beethoven's "Coriolan Overture", there was passion, drama, joy and fun to open the season. Unfortunately our second program "In an English Garden" had to be postponed to next season due to weather, but we look forward to sharing beautiful British string music with our audiences in '25-26.

The season concludes with "Viva l'Italia!" on May 31st at 3 pm. Joined by soloists Bryan Anderson (organ) and Joo Chung (flute), New Texas Sinfonia performs Mendelssohn's "Italian Symphony" and Alfredo Casella's monumental "Concerto Romano", celebrating 25 years of East Texas' largest pipe organ at First Presbyterian Church in Tyler.

New Texas Sinfonia is currently preparing for our fifth season and your support today goes directly towards making that season a success! We thank you for your generosity and look forward to seeing you at event in the future!
