SparrowsMATTER offers knowledgeable support with kindness to unique families. Special needs can be overwhelming, but no one should face it alone. We have a BIrdhouse of Hope that targets the whole family: While kids enjoy the sensory play space, parents can relax with a cup of coffee or meet with a resource advocate who is knowledgeable about potential services available from government and non-profits alike. Coming soon, teens and above will be able to enjoy social interaction on their own terms in a gaming room.

One in five families in the US are caring for a child with special needs. Resources exist, but parents are on their own to find them. This is a huge learning curve for caregivers while caring for their child, maintaining their marriage, and juggling the medical and educational needs. We're here to help, not just with resources, but with relational kindness. During what may be the hardest struggle in life, we're here to walk alongside and push back the isolation that so often follows a life diagnosis. We're located in the midst of multiple therapy offices whose expertise attract people from 6 counties. # We provide: #In-office advocacy and referrals for caregivers linking them to the specific needs of their family.. #Monthly multi-day events that are personalized for each child and family to enjoy without sensory overload. #Partnership with over two dozen organizations and gov't resources to match individual's needs. #Sensory friendly play and meeting. space that welcomes special needs families of all ages. #Our phone is open to receive calls from outside our physical area and even from out. of state.
