Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas
About this Organization
Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas serve more than 2,100 girls in 22 East Texas counties. Additionally, through a Middle School initiative in Tyler and Longview, 1,200 girls participate at no cost in the Girl Scout program during their school day.
Girl Scouts helps girls learn leadership skills and resilience to form lasting and stronger relationships with their friends and peers. One East Texas Girl Scout shared, "Because I am a Girl Scout, I am becoming more responsible and more patient with others." (CP Survey East Texas Schools-Tyler Middle School MY 2024)
Today's girl is showing up differently from girls in the past. As a result, Girl Scouts must be ready to support her more than ever before. The world desperately needs girls to be confident, ambitious, and accepted for who they are.
Supporting Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas on East Texas Giving Day provides access to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to every girl regardless of their backgrounds, locations, or financial situations and helps every Girl Scout prepare for a lifetime of achievement through programs and activities.
