Fat Boy Foundation

A nonprofit organization

We believe that skilled trades are essential to building a strong workforce and thriving communities. The Fat Boy Foundation Scholarship directly supports students pursuing careers in trade schools, apprenticeships, and vocational programs-ensuring they have the tools, education, and resources to succeed. Scholarships: We award scholarships to students who are committed to skilled trades like electrical lineman programs, welding, mechanics, HVAC, plumbing, medical tech fields, and more. Tools & Equipment Assistance: Helping students afford the necessary tools and certifications for their trade.

Fat Boy Foundation was formed in memory of our son Jonathan Holland. He was killed in a car wreck along side our neighbors daughter Addison Shepherd on 11-1-23 in Henderson. The accident was caused by a distracted driver which killed 2 kids. Jonathan was in electrical lineman school at TSTC Marshall at his time of death. We want to help young adults go to Trade Schools through scholarships. In the past 2 years we have given out over $48,500 in Scholarships. We have also given a electrical lineman tool kit to a young adult going to TSTC in Marshall. All of this information and pictures is available on our website and Facebook page. fatboyfoundation.org
