Selah Life Choices

A nonprofit organization

We exist to serve women who have been sex trafficked by offering a safe space for healing to begin while we compassionately reflect Jesus to all we encounter.

Selah opened in Sep 2024. We offer a short-term Stabilization Center for trafficked women. We stand in the gap with services until a long-term placement and treatment program is secured. We are an up-to-90-day program that includes housing on 14 acres in Smith County.
Selah collaborates with other organizations, including Bethesda, The Crisis Center, Unbound Now, The Andrews Center, and law enforcement in North and East Texas.

Emergency Housing Program Goal
The goal of our emergency housing program is to collaborate closely with female survivors to ensure their immediate safety and security and provide tailored, individualized services, including emergency medical and dental care, addiction counseling, detox support, trauma-informed counseling with a licensed professional counselor (LPC), neurofeedback to reduce fight-or-flight responses, nutrition support, clothing, housing, and more. We also work alongside each woman to develop personalized service plans that help her establish or rebuild support networks and successfully reintegrate into the community.
