Little Angels Service Dogs
About this Organization
Little Angels Service Dogs (LASD) transforms the lives of individuals living with disabilities by training and placing highly skilled service dogs. Our dogs support people living with physical, psychiatric, neurological, and developmental disabilities, fostering independence and improving quality of life.
LASD serves individuals across the U.S., tailoring each dog's training to meet the recipient's unique needs. From mobility assistance and seizure alert to autism and PTSD support, our service dogs offer life-changing companionship and security.
Beyond placements, we educate the public through programs like FETCH, combining fundraising with school-based learning about service dogs' vital roles. We also engage in community partnerships like Touched by an Angel, a therapy dog program for seniors, and the PUPS (Puppies Uplifting Prisoners' Spirits) program, where inmates help train service dogs, fostering rehabilitation and emotional growth.
Through these efforts, LASD empowers individuals with disabilities and strengthens communities by promoting inclusion, education, and compassionate support.
