Little Angels Service Dogs (LASD) is a national ADI (Assistance Dogs International) accredited nonprofit organization that transforms lives by training and placing assistance dogs with individuals living with a wide range of disabilities. With regions in California, Texas, and New England, we serve children and adults.

Our dogs are specially trained for autism assistance, diabetic alert, hearing assistance, medical alert, mobility assistance, psychiatric service, and seizure alert. Each dog is individually matched with their handler to meet unique needs and provide greater independence, safety, and well-being.

Our training process is comprehensive and compassionate. From their first days as puppies, our dogs are raised with care and purpose. They receive socialization and obedience training, progress through advanced tasks, and spend time in a variety of environments — including homes, public places, and even prisons through our PUPS (Puppies Uplifting Prisoners’ Spirits) program. Along the way, they learn life-saving tasks like alerting to seizures, retrieving dropped items, assisting with mobility, and more.

We also prioritize serving our community in other ways. Through outreach, school visits, and awareness campaigns, we teach people about disability rights, service dog etiquette, and the vital role these animals play in the lives of their handlers. Our Touched by an Angel program brings the benefits of therapy dogs to seniors in Carroll County.

We believe that everyone deserves the chance to live more fully, and a service dog can be the bridge to that life.

Your support during NH Gives helps us continue this mission, covering the cost of breedingtraining, veterinary care, supplies, and travel. Every gift brings us one step closer to placing another life-changing dog with someone waiting for their angel.
