Free, confidential help and information are available to women, men and families. With outreach offices in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Crockett and San Augustine, the Family Crisis Center serves anyone in East Texas and beyond who is experiencing violence or loves someone who is experiencing abuse. In 2024, the agency served 687 adults and 537 child survivors aged 0 to 17, each one facing their own journey of healing. Shelter nights totaled 11,986 from the 310 residential clients seeking safety.

The recent addition of an indoor play space and meeting area is giving survivors more freedom and an outlet to reduce stress.
