Through Leadership Lufkin, Leadership Tomorrow, the Leadership Lufkin Alumni Association, and Leading Edge, the Chamber Foundation is committed to cultivating informed, engaged leaders who actively contribute to the economic prosperity and overall quality of life in our community.

Leadership Lufkin is a prestigious nine month leadership development program that identifies, educates, and connects current and emerging leaders in Angelina County. Participants engage in immersive, full day sessions that provide a comprehensive understanding of the community, including healthcare, public safety, social services, government, education, economic development, and quality of life. The program equips participants with the knowledge, relationships, and perspective needed to lead with confidence and purpose.

Leadership Tomorrow is designed for high school juniors across Angelina County and serves as a powerful introduction to leadership and community engagement. Modeled after Leadership Lufkin, the program offers students the opportunity to explore local industries, connect with community leaders, and discover pathways for their future. Through hands-on experiences and volunteer service, students gain a deeper appreciation for their community and the role they can play in shaping it.

The Leadership Lufkin Alumni Association connects graduates of Leadership Lufkin and provides meaningful opportunities for continued engagement, collaboration, and impact. Established in 2008, the Alumni Association empowers members to build on the knowledge and relationships gained through the program while supporting ongoing community initiatives. It serves as a network of dedicated leaders committed to making a lasting difference in Angelina County.

Leading Edge is a fellowship program that empowers early to mid-career professionals to become effective nonprofit board leaders and engaged community advocates. Each participant is paired with an experienced executive mentor, creating a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. The program includes in depth training in board governance in partnership with Angelina College Center for Nonprofit Leadership and culminates in a certificate in Board Governance. Graduates are equipped with the skills, connections, and opportunities to serve on nonprofit boards and contribute meaningfully to the community.
