Mentoring Alliance

Mission Statement: Mentoring Alliance exists to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, to provide tangible help and eternal hope. 

Through after-school programs, summer camps, and one-on-one mentoring programs, we provide Christ-centered mentoring to kids in our community, many of whom are from single-parent homes.

With only one parent in the home, there’s less time, less financial stability, and less emotional support. These kids are more likely to fall behind in school, struggle with friendships, and drift from their faith.

And in the summer, these kids are often left at home alone, with no one to make sure they're safe and cared for.

But at Mentoring Alliance, kids attend summer camps at a cost their parents can afford.  They spend all week in a gospel-filled environment experiencing all the joy of camp including camp cheers and engaging indoor and outdoor activities. Campers also receive two nutritious meals a day and participate in learning sessions led by district teachers.

Most importantly, our staff will intentionally mentor them. Campers will learn about their eternal hope in Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of local donors like you. When you give, you are providing a MA Summer Camps scholarship to a child from a low-income family, who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend camp. But thanks to your generous support, they'll receive the encouragement and care they need to thrive.
