The Junior League of Tyler, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Tyler channels funds to other non-profit organizations and League-initiated programs through projects which include volunteer placements. These funds are granted through the League's Community Coordinating process and this past year were granted to 16 different non-profits and programs over $200,000.
