This red brick and concrete building houses collections of historic items for the museum and served as a post office from 1926 until 1992. Purchased from the federal government, the building opened as a museum in October of 1993. Our immediate needs are to maintain the safety of the building. Plans are to use funds raised to repair floor at rear entrance, repair back door and have an electrical system assessment and system improvements. We are experiencing losses in membership annual dues as well as our annual fundraising event is no longer. To fix these issues, we hope donors will understand the museums' purpose in the community and donate
