Special Health Resources is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving twenty-three counties in Northeast Texas. As a community health center, Special Health Resources is committed to providing medical, dental, mental, and behavioral healthcare to underserved communities of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. We do not turn anyone away. In Texas, one out of every five people has no health insurance—the highest uninsured rate in the nation. Our comprehensive services keep our neighbors safe and healthy while keeping emergency rooms from becoming overcrowded. We are again participating in East Texas Giving Day on April 29, and we’d like you to consider donating to support our mission.
