As a community health center, Special Health Resources is committed to providing medical, dental and mental and behavioral healthcare to underserved communities of all ages regardless of their ability to pay. As an integrated safety net healthcare system, we also help identify and address non-medical drivers of health that impact an individual’s overall health and wellness like food insecurity, lack of transportation and housing. With health centers in Tyler, Longview, Paris and Texarkana, Texas, as well as a fleet of mobile units, we serve communities in 23 East Texas counties and one Southwest Arkansas county. We are once again participating in East Texas Giving Day on April 29, and we’d like you to consider donating in support of our mission. Your donation will help cover the cost of doctor visits and medical lab fees for individuals who may not be able to afford needed care. Your donation will directly benefit our patients’ lives.
