Fundraiser Story

NTCC Film Club explores members’ interests in film, old and new, and shares those interests with the community. Members gather weekly to enjoy a wide variety of films, take field trips to special showings or invite guests involved with film development to present. The club’s longest running program is a film series each semester to expose students to films they would not necessarily choose for themselves. In the fall of 2024, it was Robin Hood from silent film to Prince of Thieves, and this Spring the work of John Ford, only winner of four Best Director Oscars. In the past, the funds from ETGD helped the club take field trips and to purchase a new popcorn maker. This year, the club hopes to replace the screen in our meeting room. Years ago, the room had the largest screen on campus, but it was damaged and replaced with a smaller screen. The Club wants to replace the original “big screen” experience that led to us choose that room for our “home.” Thank you for giving.
