Sigma Kappa Delta English Honors SocietySigma Kappa Delta (SKD) is the national English honor society for students at two-year colleges, dedicated to fostering excellence in the study of English and promoting a vibrant literary and academic community. Our chapter provides a dynamic environment where students engage deeply with literature, writing, and the arts while developing leadership skills and academic confidence. Through workshops, service projects, literary events, and scholarly opportunities, SKD members connect with peers and faculty in ways that encourage intellectual curiosity, personal growth, and professional development. Members have access to publication opportunities, scholarships, and regional/national conventions that celebrate student achievements and provide platforms for meaningful academic dialogue.
