Being a board member of the Glass House means doing everything I can for my local queer community. Supporting others and helping create a space where we can all thrive. This is important to me because I know how hard it is to feel like you don’t have a place. As a closeted queer and trans kid without much support, I know what it feels like to hide who you are. The Glass House offers a space for LGBTQIA+ youth and adults alike, where they can be themselves and flourish. No judgment, no doubt, just love and care for one another. I often see myself in the youth that comes in our door, and I have so much hope for them. I’ve made so many great friends and chosen family along the way, and I’m so excited for our youth to do the same! We truly are stronger together
