The Museum of East Texas is a special place in our community. As a child I attended Art Camp with memories I still hold dear. My daughters have been able to attend this same camp beginning a great tradition in our family. I began volunteering with the MET when I joined the Junior League of Lufkin. I am now honored to serve as the Board President for The Museum of East Texas. The volunteers of MET are some of the most amazing people with huge hearts for serving East Texas. The museum provides enrichment and education through the celebration of art to the East Texas community. MET provides inclusive access to dynamic exhibitions, educational programs, and creative experiences that inspire lifelong learning. As the Museum of East Texas celebrates its 50th anniversary I’m so excited to see the bright future ahead!
