I found Community RX Help when we moved here from Colorado and discovered that Medicaid doesn't transfer from state to state. Community RX Help helped my daughter get her seizure medications while we waited on Medicaid. I then went to work for the organization for 7 years, during which time we helped hundreds of people, without prescription insurance, get their life saving medications. One woman was actively having seizures. I was able to help her get immediate medication through the Immediate Medication Program, while we enrolled her in the Maintenance Program. This program makes a tangible difference. Community RX Help is funded through grants and donations. They charge nothing for their services and the staff often work many long hours beyond their scheduled work time. I implore you to consider donating to this valuable community organization, unique to Nacogdoches (serving 4 counties) to help people who are struggling to pay their bills and buy their medications.
