Meals on Wheels East Texas empowers older and disabled adults to live independently in their own homes by providing nutritious home-delivered meals, safety checks, socialization, and community connection, which result in an enhanced quality of life and purpose as everyday people join us in ministry.

Meals on Wheels East Texas receives funding from state and federal sources, but it is not enough; in fact, without financial support from private individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations, hundreds of our clients would remain hungry and alone or on a waiting list. Support from people like you provides a hot, freshly made meal for people who have no other access to nutritional support.

That meals comes with a friendly visit, safety check, and a break from the ongoing isolation and loneliness they face through compassionate volunteers who deliver our meals each day.

THIS YEAR'S NEED:
Help us feed the need! Our food cost has increased 11% in the past three years but our funding from local, state, and federal agencies has not. Our entire mission centers on food for older and disabled adults in East Texas.; everything else we do to be "more than a meal" is an auxiliary measure of support to enhance their quality of life.
