💜 Give Hope. Create Stability. Change a Life

Hi, my name is Erica and I have the God given honor to work at Hope Haven of East Texas on the residential campus for teens: Gateway of Hope. 

Every day, teen girls come to Gateway of Hope carrying the weight of trauma, instability, and loss. Often with nothing but a few small bags and a guarded heart. 

In my work, I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to find safe, stable homes for teenage girls in foster care -- many wait far too long for someone to say yes to them. Here, they’re met with safety, structure, and people who choose them, even on their hardest days. Our heart is to show them God’s love in the way we care, support, and walk alongside them, reminding each girl that she is seen, valued, and not alone.
