What does Tyler Civic Theater Center mean to you…
Community and friendship. I knew no one when I moved to Tyler 14 years ago and walked into an audition at TCTC two days after moving. Turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. From that first day walking into the Roger’s Theater for auditions and almost walking out, to writing and directing my own show, it has been a privilege everyday to work with TCTC. For me it is more than just a place I volunteer, or where I found my village, it is a reminder to do the thing that scares you!
In honor of East Texas Giving Day this is just a small reminder of the importance of places like Tyler Civic Theater so that kids, adults, actors, crew members, and audiences can continue to be reminded to take that chance, say yes, and do the thing that scares you!
