I've been part of the LGBTQIA+ community all my life. In charge of my red firetruck here at 27 months old, I needed that suede skirt to be chaps, and the red Mary Janes to be boots. (I got both later, but not in time to command the fire brigade.) When I was growing up there was no place to find other kids like me, so I thought I was alone and just didn't quite "fit in."
That is no longer the case for people in East Texas. The Glass House Resource Center provides programs, referrals, support, and information to the LGBTQIA+ community. So nobody grows up alone, afraid to be who they are, or feeling left out.
Please make a donation to keep our doors open and our programs secure. We make a difference. You can too.
